Alliance Executive Director Ed Coyle joined House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, several House Representatives and other aging organizations at the U.S. Capitol to address the House health bill up for a vote later this week.
The Alliance joined AFSCME Retirees, AARP, Center for Medicare Advocacy and others in expressing disappoinment at the way the health reform debate has played out - dominated by lies and scare tactics from big insurance companies invested in the status quo. Unfortunately, they have distorted the truth to protect their record profits.
